The Overcomers is part of the Foursquare Church which operates in every continent of the world with 7+ million members in 50,000 Churches spread throughout 147 Nations. The term "Foursquare" is a Biblical term used of the tabernacle in the Book of Exodus, of the Temple of the Lord in Ezekiel. The term "Foursqure Gospel" was given in the inspiration of revival to the denomination's founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, during an evangelistic campaign on Oakland, Calif., 1922. It represents that which is equally balanced on all sides, established and enduring, proclaiming that "Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever."
